Baton Rouge Local Businesses

In the last week, I have had been to two Baton Rouge businesses for the first time - Doe's Eat Place and Sweet Wishes Cafe. It made me realize there are so many local establishments that I haven't tried, but am always quick to go to the chains. I just want to encourage people to try the local shops!

Doe's Eat Place - Probably the best steak I have had in a long time. For those of you who have not been there, Doe's has a great atmosphere and great food. Sweet Wishes Cafe - Home of the world's greatest cupcake selection...at least I think so! With an always giving attitude, you may even win a free cupcake on Twitter! Always with a variety of flavors, one of the few places you can actually order Sugar-free cupcakes also. LA Boilers

For all you crawfish lovers in Baton Rouge, have you tried LA Boilers on Perkins Road? They are fantastic and have drive-thru if you wanna get it to go! I had my first couple of pounds tonight and they were delicious!!

So, hands down, I recommend them for all of your crawfish needs!

Also, while I do not eat shrimp, they had boiled shrimp available. My parents seemed to enjoy them quite a bit! Be sure and check out LA Boilers!
